How it was made
Designed and carved by hand using traditional linocut techniques. I sketch the fridge motif, transfers it to linoleum, and carves away the non-image areas with gouges to create the relief plate.
Ink is rolled onto the carved block and each impression is hand-printed using a press (or hand-burnished for small batches), which leaves subtle, glorious variations — slight texture, the occasional fingerprint, and uneven edges that make each print wonderfully unique.
Each piece is signed on the back— care instructions below.
